RARITAN TOWNSHIP, N.J. (Hunterdon County) — Firefighters extinguished a vehicle fire on Route 12 in Raritan Township Sunday morning, according to the Raritan Township Fire Company.
Firefighters responded shortly after 10 a.m. to a report of a vehicle fire on Route 12.
Upon arrival, crews found an active fire in the vehicle’s engine compartment. Firefighters stretched a hose line and quickly brought the fire under control, according to the fire company.
Crews operated at the scene for less than 45 minutes before clearing.
The Raritan Township Fire Marshal’s Office, Raritan Township Police Department and New Jersey State Police assisted at the scene.
