Hackettstown announces ‘adopt a tree program’ for town residents

HACKETTSTOWN, NJ (Warren County) – Hackettstown’s “adopt a tree program,” which provides various species of shade trees for residents to choose from, is back again this year.

There are four species of trees that residents can choose from, which can be found on the town’s website.

If any resident within the Town of Hackettstown is interested in having the town plant a shade tree within the right of way of your property, email administration@hackettstown.net with your choice of tree, the location, your contact information and someone from the town will contact you, officials said.

This offer is for Hackettstown taxpayers only and not for Hackettstown mailing addresses, officials said.
