Hackettstown BID to host April 27 talk on recycling, waste practices
HACKETTSTOWN, N.J. (Warren County) — The Hackettstown Business Improvement District will host a speaker event later this month focused on waste and recycling practices.
The event, part of the Hackettstown BID Speaker Series, is scheduled for Monday, April 27, at 6 p.m. at the BID office, located at 219 Main St.
Titled “Waste and Recycling is no Funny business!,” the program will feature Les Moore, a senior sales manager at Sanico Inc., who will discuss recycling processes, waste management practices and common misconceptions.
Organizers said the session will address questions such as how recycling systems work, whether materials are actually separated and processed, and how businesses can improve their waste management practices.
The event will include a networking session from 6 to 6:20 p.m., followed by a lecture and question-and-answer session from 6:20 to 7 p.m.
Food will be provided by Mama’s, with beverages from Living Spirit and Czig Meister.
Officials said the event is designed to provide practical information while offering a chance for attendees to connect with other members of the local business community.
Registration is required. For more information or to RSVP, visit the Hackettstown BID website or call 908-850-5004.
