Warren County invites senior artists to participate in annual Senior Citizen Art Show

WARREN COUNTY, NJ – Warren County is inviting senior artists aged 60 and older to showcase their talents in the annual County Senior Citizen Art Show, held in celebration of Older Americans Month this May.

The event is an opportunity for local seniors to display their artwork and contribute to the county’s vibrant artistic community.

The show, which will take place at the Wayne Dumont Jr. Administration Building in Belvidere, is being organized by the Warren County Division of Cultural & Heritage Affairs, with co-sponsorship from the Warren County Division of Aging & Disability Services. The event is supported by the Warren County Board of County Commissioners and funded in part by the New Jersey State Council on the Arts (NJSCA) and the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA).

Digital guidelines and applications for the show are available on the Cultural & Heritage website. For those who prefer hard copies or large print applications, these can be requested by calling the Warren County Cultural & Heritage Affairs at (908) 453-4381 or by emailing Gina Rosseland.

Artwork drop-off for the show will take place on Thursday, April 24, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Wayne Dumont, Jr. Administration Building (165 CR 519 South, Belvidere, NJ 07823). During drop-off, artists will receive labels to complete and affix to their artwork.

The Warren County Art Show and Artists’ Reception will be held on Friday, May 16, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the same location, with a reception following the show for participating artists. Artwork will be displayed at the Administration Building until August 21, 2025.
