Hackettstown Community Day rescheduled to June 8 due to forecasted rain

HACKETTSTOWN, N.J. (Warren County) — Due to forecasted rain, Hackettstown Community Day has been rescheduled to its rain date and will now take place on Sunday, June 8, from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Hackettstown High School and the Arthur J. Sheldon Recreation Complex on Warren Street.

The family-friendly celebration will still include mini rides and inflatables, food vendors, a Mars Wrigley candy giveaway, the Hackettstown Medical Center tent, games, and a wide variety of activities. Tickets, ride wristbands, souvenirs, and the newly introduced Loyalty Cards sold by the Hackettstown BID can be purchased with cash, Venmo, or credit card.

The “Hackettstown’s Got Talent” show, hosted by Hackettstown Center for the Arts and sponsored by Strand Studios, will proceed as planned from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on the main stage. The talent competition will feature participants in various age categories, with winners receiving BID Bucks and a trophy.

However, the “Dancing with the Local Stars” event has been moved up and will now take place on Saturday, June 7, at 5:00 p.m. at the Classic Ballroom Dance Studio, 6 Hastings Square Mall in Hackettstown. Space at the studio is limited, but a live stream of the show will be provided for those unable to attend in person.
