WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP, N.J. (Morris County) — Heath Village Retirement Community in Morris County will host a free educational seminar, “Medicare: What You Need to Know,” on Thursday, Oct. 23, at 2 p.m.

The program will feature Brian McKevitt, a licensed insurance agent and co-owner of InsureCall, a Medicare health insurance agency. McKevitt and his partner, Jeffrey Pesso, have more than 40 years of combined experience helping individuals navigate Medicare coverage.

McKevitt will discuss a range of topics related to Medicare and the open enrollment process, and guests are encouraged to bring their questions. The session is designed to help seniors better understand the complex and changing healthcare landscape.

“The issues surrounding healthcare are important, complex, time-sensitive, and constantly changing,” the agency said. “InsureCall’s goal is to help people make informed and confident health insurance decisions.”

While the seminar is free, RSVPs are requested. To register or request accommodations for persons with special needs, call 908-684-5009 (TTY: 711).

Organizers noted that, while a licensed agent will be present, no sales will be conducted, and the event is strictly educational. The program is not affiliated with Medicare or any government agency.
