Heath Village to host senior real estate seminar on March 25
WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP, N.J. (Morris County) — Heath Village will host an in-person seminar later this month aimed at helping seniors navigate the process of selling a home and transitioning to a new living arrangement.
The program, titled “Making the Move,” is scheduled for Wednesday, March 25, from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Heath Village retirement community in Washington Township, Morris County.
The seminar will feature an “Ask the Expert” real estate panel that includes Janen L. Ardia, broker of record for RE/MAX Heritage Properties in Flanders and Chester; Michael S. Selvaggi, an attorney with the law firm Lavery, Selvaggi & Cohen; and Larry McEntee of HomeTeam Inspection Service.
Panelists will discuss topics including current real estate market conditions, common mistakes made by home sellers and strategies for maximizing a home’s value.
Following the panel discussion, Heath Village residents who moved into the community within the past 12 to 15 months will share their personal experiences and lessons learned during the moving process.
Several vendors will also be available to provide information and resources, including Fast Moving Company, Caring Transitions, Dazzle by Design Home Staging and Get Organized by Maria.
Organizers said a question-and-answer session will follow each panel discussion, and light refreshments will be served.
The event is free, but registration is required. For more information or to RSVP, call 908-684-5009.
