Hometown Holiday event set for this Friday and Saturday in Hackettstown

HACKETTSTOWN, NJ (Warren County) – The annual Hackettstown Business Improvement District’s Hometown Holiday event is set for Friday, December 6 and Saturday, December 7.

Hometown Holiday Events for Friday, December 6th:

  • 5:00–9:00pm Holiday Bazaar Food & Shopping Tent (Behind Stella G’s)
  • 5:00–6:30pm Community Christmas Carol Sing Along with Treats, Santa & crafts and the Grand Illumination of Seay Building (Centenary University, Seay Building)
  • 5:00–8:00pm Hackettstown Free Public Library Open House
  • 5:00–8:00pm Hackettstown Historical Society Open House Christmas Party with over 500 Santas on display, punch, goodies. All Welcome – free event Fireside Chat with Maryann McFadden “A Christmas Star”
  • 5:00-5:30pm Hackettstown Middle School Tiger Tunes (Gazebo)
  • 5:30pm Hackettstown High School Chorale Select Ensemble (Gazebo)
  • 6:15-7:00pm Faith Center for the Arts A Cappella Choir (Holiday Bazaar Tent)
  • 6:15-7:00pm NJ Civic Ballet Performance (Gazebo)
  • 6:30pm “The Sugar Taps” at Man Skirt Brewing)
  • 6:30-7:00pm Colonial Musketeers Senior Fife and Drum Corps (Berk’s Outlet Store, Main Street)
  • 7:00–7:30pm Santa Parade (Main Street from East Plane Street to Moore Street)
  • 7:30pm Tree Lighting (Main & Moore St. Gazebo)
  • 7:45–9:00pm Santa Selfie Station with Kiwanis/Key Club Hot Chocolate and Cookies (Moore Street Fire House)
  • 7:45-8:15pm Hackettstown High School Band (Moore Street by Stella G’s)
  • 8:00pm Centenary Stage presents “The Christmas Carol” (Centenary Univ., Lackland Center, 715 Grand Avenue)

Hometown Holiday Events for Saturday, December 7th:

  • Santa Winter Wonderland at the Hackettstown Community Center (293 Main St) 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Jay Edwards

Born and raised in Northwest NJ, Jay has a degree in Communications and has had a life-long interest in local radio and various styles of music. Jay has held numerous jobs over the years such as stunt car driver, bartender, voice-over artist, traffic reporter (award winning), NY Yankee maintenance crewmember and peanut farm worker. His hobbies include mountain climbing, snowmobiling, cooking, performing stand-up comedy and he is an avid squirrel watcher. Jay has been a guest on America’s Morning Headquarters,program on The Weather Channel, and was interviewed by Sam Champion.
