Hope Fire Department to host 3rd annual Polar Plunge fundraiser in February

HOPE TOWNSHIP, N.J. (Warren County) — The Hope Volunteer Fire Department will host its third annual Polar Plunge fundraiser next month, inviting residents to brave the cold in support of the local fire company.

The event is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 21, 2026, at Swayze Mill Park in Hope Township. Registration begins at 9:30 a.m., with the plunge set for 10:30 a.m. The entry fee is $25, and participants will receive T-shirts while supplies last.

Proceeds from the event will benefit the Hope Volunteer Fire Department, Station 38.

Organizers said participants will take a plunge into the park’s cold waters, with hot drinks, hot dogs and a bonfire available to help warm up afterward.

Children 18 and under must be accompanied by a guardian, and footwear is required to participate in the plunge.
