Hunterdon County Chamber of Commerce Foundation offering June 11 lunch and learn on employee handbooks

FLEMINGTON, NJ (Hunterdon County) – The Hunterdon County Chamber of Commerce Foundation, with support from the Hunterdon County Commissioners, is offering a Lunch and Learn on June 11 at 12:00 p.m. on a key topic for employers: “Keeping Your Employee Handbook Current and Why it Matters.”

The workshop is designed for business owners, managers, and HR representatives. Lunch will be provided.

The session will feature speaker Leslie Parikh of Gebhardt & Kiefer Law Offices, whose practice focuses on employment law, civil rights litigation, and municipal law. Parikh will discuss how an Employee Handbook should align with today’s workplace and legal requirements to effectively communicate policies and standards.

At the conclusion of the workshop, attendees will walk away with practical information to ensure their organization’s Employee Handbook is a reliable tool that provides up-to-date, clear information on policies, procedures, and workplace requirements.
