Hunterdon County Commissioner Rich attends Career And Service-Learning Fair at Hunterdon Central High School

HUNTERDON COUNTY, NJ – Hunterdon County Commissioner Zach Rich recently attended Hunterdon Central Regional High School’s (HCRHS) second annual Career and Service-Learning Fair.

The event, hosted in the Commons of the school’s 11/12 building off Junction Road, provided high school students with valuable opportunities to connect with local businesses and organizations while exploring career paths, internships, and service-learning initiatives.

Commissioner Rich shared, “Being at the Career and Service-Learning Fair at Hunterdon Central was a great experience. It was inspiring to see so many students excited about exploring their future paths and connecting with local businesses and organizations. The fact that this is the second annual fair shows just how much our community values giving students opportunities to grow and dream big.”

Commissioner Rich’s attendance highlighted Hunterdon County’s commitment to fostering educational growth and career readiness among its youth. Meagan O’Reilly, Hunterdon County’s Human Resources Director, was also present with an informational table to connect students with resources, including seasonal employment, full-time jobs, and volunteer opportunities. Additionally, Jordan Hutchins from Hunterdon County Library Services attended, offering insights into tools and programs designed to support students’ academic and professional goals.

Students in grades 10 through 12 participated in two sessions during the school day, while students in grades 9 through 12 had the opportunity to attend from 2:00 to 3:00 PM after school hours. The event represented a collaborative effort between HCRHS, local businesses, and county representatives to inspire students and equip them with practical knowledge and connections for successful futures.
