Person airlifted after traumatic fall in Hunterdon County

RARITAN TOWNSHIP, N.J. (Hunterdon County) — A person was airlifted to a hospital Wednesday afternoon after suffering a traumatic fall on Everitts Road in Raritan Township, according to emergency officials.

The Flemington-Raritan First Aid and Rescue Squad responded to the scene for an unconscious patient and provided care alongside Hunterdon Medical Center paramedics. The individual was later transferred to the flight crew of the New Jersey State Police NorthSTAR medevac unit, the squad said.

The patient was flown to Capital Health in Trenton for treatment. The Raritan Township Fire Company secured the landing zone.

No additional details about the patient or the circumstances of the fall were immediately released.
