Hunterdon County FFA Chapters aim to fill 53-foot trailer for Hurricane Helene relief efforts

HUNTERDON COUNTY, NJ  In response to an overwhelming outpouring of support for the Hurricane Helene relief donation drive, the Hunterdon County Vocational FFA Chapters are ramping up their efforts to assist those in need.

The initial 14-foot trailer has already overflowed with donations, prompting the organization to set a new goal of filling a 53-foot trailer with various items for human, pet, and livestock relief.

“We’ve made a significant dent in filling the trailer, but we need the community’s help to maximize our impact,” said the Hunterdon County Vocational FFA Chapters.

The trailer, donated by Stern Farms, LLC, will be transported to the McDowell County Agricultural Center in Marion, NC, by Nov. 1. If the trailer is filled before that date, it will leave earlier.

Community members are encouraged to contribute by dropping off donations at the trailer. For those with bulk donations, reach out to Miss Romanczak at tromanczak@nhvweb.net, Miss Stillwell at rstillwell@nhvweb.net, or Miss Ruggieri at aruggieri@nhvweb.net to schedule a drop-off time.
