Hunterdon County Sheriff’s Office welcomes new correctional police officer

FLEMINGTON, N.J. (Hunterdon County) — The Hunterdon County Sheriff’s Office has added a new member to its ranks with the swearing-in of Deano C. Quatrocchi as a correctional police officer.

Sheriff Fred Brown administered the oath during a ceremony on Tuesday, Aug. 5, 2025.

“We are proud to welcome Officer Quatrocchi to our team,” Brown said. “His commitment to public service and enthusiasm for law enforcement make him a strong addition to our office and a future asset to the Hunterdon County community.”

Quatrocchi will begin his career by attending the Basic Course for Correctional Police Officers at the Monmouth County Correctional Police Academy. The program provides new officers with the knowledge and skills to maintain safety, security, and order in correctional facilities.

After completing the academy, Quatrocchi will return to Hunterdon County for on-the-job training and integration into the Sheriff’s Office operations.

“We look forward to supporting Officer Quatrocchi through his training and watching him grow into a valued law enforcement professional,” Brown said.

The Hunterdon County Sheriff’s Office said it remains committed to excellence, integrity, and service in all aspects of public safety.
