Hunterdon Health’s Mobile Intensive Care Unit enhances care with new Zoll Portable Ventilators

HUNTERDON COUNTY, NJ – Hunterdon Health’s Mobile Intensive Care Unit (MICU) has rolled out Zoll Portable Ventilators across all four of its units, strengthening the region’s emergency medical response capabilities.

The new advanced ventilators will provide critical respiratory support to ventilated patients during ambulance transport, enhancing the quality and safety of care provided throughout the region. This upgrade marks another step forward in Hunterdon Health’s ongoing efforts to elevate emergency medical services for the community.

The addition of the ventilators was made possible through generous philanthropic support secured by the Hunterdon Health Foundation.

“We are grateful to the donors and partners who helped fund this project,” the organization said in a statement. “This investment ensures our first responders can continue delivering exceptional care with the latest life-saving tools.”

Hunterdon Health’s MICU team continues to prioritize innovation and uphold the highest standards in pre-hospital critical care.
