Hunterdon Medical Center gift shop donates more than $72,000 to support patient care programs

RARITAN TOWNSHIP, N.J. (Hunterdon County) — Small, everyday purchases by patients, visitors and staff added up to a major contribution for patient care at Hunterdon Health, as the Lobby Gift Shop at Hunterdon Medical Center donated more than $72,000 in 2025, officials said.

The gift shop raised $72,493.10 through sales during the year, with all proceeds benefiting the Hunterdon Health Foundation. Officials said the funds provide flexible support for programs and services across the hospital, helping address areas of greatest need.

Operated by a team of volunteers, the Lobby Gift Shop is located on the first floor of Hunterdon Medical Center. Hospital officials said the donations help strengthen clinical programs, fund essential equipment purchases and ease financial strain for patients and families navigating medical care.
