Juvenile charged for allegedly assaulting nurse at Saint Clare’s Denville Hospital

DENVILLE TOWNSHIP, NJ (Morris County) – A juvenile has been charged for allegedly assaulting a nurse at Saint Clare’s Denville Hospital early Monday morning, police said.

On March 27, at around 2:57 a.m., police responded to the St. Clare’s Hospital emergency room on a report that a staff member that had been assaulted, police said.

During the course of the investigation, it was determined that a juvenile female assaulted an emergency room nurse, causing bodily injury and breaking the employee’s glasses, police said.

She was charged with aggravated assault on a healthcare worker and criminal mischief, police said.
