Lane restrictions set March 23-27 at Uhlerstown-Frenchtown Toll-Supported Bridge
FRENCHTOWN BOROUGH, N.J. (Hunterdon County) — Motorists can expect delays next week at the Uhlerstown-Frenchtown Toll-Supported Bridge due to scheduled lane restrictions.
Flagger-controlled alternating single-lane travel will be in place from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, March 23-27.
The restrictions will allow a contractor to remove portions of a temporary work platform installed beneath the bridge’s roadway deck over the past year.
Officials said brief traffic stoppages and delays are possible during the work.
Drivers are urged to slow down, use caution and follow directions from flaggers while traveling through the area.
The schedule is subject to change due to weather, emergencies or other factors.
