Leandra Cilindrello sworn in as assistant prosecutor in Morris County
MORRISTOWN, N.J. (Morris County) — Leandra Cilindrello has joined the Morris County Prosecutor’s Office and was sworn in as an assistant prosecutor, officials announced.
The swearing-in ceremony was held Monday, March 30, and conducted by Superior Court Judge Stephen Taylor, according to Morris County Prosecutor Robert J. Carroll and Chief of Detectives Robert McNally.
Cilindrello will be assigned to the General Investigations Unit within the office’s Courts and Administration Division.
She most recently served as an assistant prosecutor in Passaic County, where she handled cases including attempted murder, aggravated assault, drug distribution, theft, weapons offenses and post-indictment domestic violence matters.
Cilindrello also previously worked as a law clerk for Judge Imre Karaszegi Jr., and as a student attorney for the Legal Aid Society of Rockland County, New York, and the Pace Women’s Justice Center. She has also worked as a summer associate and legal secretary at a private law firm.
She holds a master’s degree in media and professional communications from Fairleigh Dickinson University and earned her law degree from the Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University.
“I welcome AP Cilindrello to our General Investigations Unit team. We are excited to have her join our office,” Prosecutor Carroll said.
