Living Spirits Distillery to open this summer in Hackettstown

HACKETTSTOWN, NJ (Warren County) — Living Spirits Distillery, more than five years in the making, has officially found its home at 300 Valentine Street in Hackettstown. Currently under construction, the distillery is set to open this summer.

The 7,000+ square-foot facility will feature a large bar, tasting room, private room, and an outdoor patio, offering a space for guests to gather and enjoy handcrafted spirits, creative cocktails, and a wide selection of zero-proof options.

Living Spirits aims to be a place that connects people—to the moment, to each other, and to the craft behind every pour. The distillery’s mission stems from a simple but powerful question: “What are we really here to make?” Their answer—something real and remarkable—has shaped every aspect of the business.

The distillery’s vibe, described as “LIFE, DISTILLED,” emphasizes using nature’s best ingredients and the belief that spirits are not just about what’s inside the bottle, but what happens around it. Whether it’s loud, messy tables or quiet toasts, Living Spirits seeks to ensure every moment is lived and remembered.

Founded by a group of five partners, the team came together with a shared dream of building something lasting. Their journey included many challenges, but their vision never faded. Each partner brings unique expertise—from distilling and mixology to space design and events—to create a truly memorable experience.

“Living Spirits is the culmination of a 6-year dream. Our goal is to create an experience and a space where we can all come together as a community. A place where we can all connect, celebrate, learn, and have a great cocktail.  We invite all to join us, become a part of our story and raise glass to the greatest adventure, Life,” William Tal, President of Living Spirits, told RNJ.

Living Spirits will open with a lineup that includes gin, rum, vodka, peach brandy, and absinthe. The focus will be on crafting great cocktails using unique, local ingredients whenever possible. The team also plans to create its own liquors and mixers to offer a truly artisanal and local cocktail experience. Seasonal hard seltzers made from natural ingredients will also be part of the product range.

A nod to history, each product will explore the hidden heritage of American spirits and often feature local ingredients. Updates on the buildout, grand opening, events, and the signature cocktail menu will be shared on their social media platforms, Facebook and Instagram.
