Man arrested for alleged trespassing at St. Clare’s Hospital in Morris County, police say
DENVILLE TOWNSHIP, N.J. (Morris County) — A Mt. Arlington man was arrested after allegedly refusing to leave the property at St. Clare’s Hospital in Denville Township, according to police.
Officers responded to the hospital around 10:00 p.m. March 3 after receiving a report of a trespassing complaint.
Following a brief investigation, police determined that Ricardo Gonzalez-Rivera, 27, had refused to leave the hospital property despite being advised by responding officers that he needed to do so.
Authorities said Gonzalez-Rivera continued to refuse multiple requests to leave and was subsequently arrested and charged with defiant trespassing.
During the investigation, officers also learned Gonzalez-Rivera had an outstanding no-bail warrant issued by Weehawken Municipal Court, police said.
Gonzalez-Rivera was taken to Denville Police Headquarters for processing. After processing, officers from the Weehawken Police Department responded and took custody of Gonzalez-Rivera on the warrant.
