Man charged with DWI after being found slumped at wheel on Route 202 in Somerset County

RARITAN BOROUGH, N.J. (Somerset County) —  A New York City man was charged with driving while intoxicated after police allegedly found him slumped over the steering wheel of a parked vehicle on the shoulder of Route 202 South in Raritan Borough early Monday, authorities said.

According to Raritan Borough police, Jefferson Quinaloa-Santillan, 26, was arrested at approximately 12:29 a.m. near North Thompson Street following a welfare check by a patrol officer.

In addition to the DWI charge, Quinaloa-Santillan was charged with driving while suspended, careless driving, reckless driving, failure to have insurance, and possession of an open container of alcohol.
