Man charged with DWI after Morris County Crash

DENVILLE TOWNSHIP, N.J. (Morris County) — A Rockaway Township man was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated following a motor vehicle crash in Denville Township on Saturday, according to police.

At approximately 10:26 p.m. on Aug. 2, officers responded to a report of a motor vehicle accident on Old Beach Glen Road. Following an investigation at the scene, police determined that the driver, identified as Henilkumar Patel, 24, had been allegedly operating the vehicle while intoxicated.

Patel was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated, traffic on marked lanes, reckless driving, and careless driving, police said.

Patel was later released pending a future appearance in Denville Municipal Court.
