
Man sentenced to state prison for sexually assaulting child in Warren County
BELVIDERE, N.J. (Warren County) — A Phillipsburg man has been sentenced to 30 years in New Jersey State Prison for sexually assaulting a child between 2015 and 2016, the Warren County Prosecutor’s Office announced Tuesday.
Victor I. Rosado, 46, was sentenced on Oct. 7, 2025, by Superior Court Judge H. Matthew Curry to 30 years in state prison, with 25 ½ years of parole ineligibility. Upon release, Rosado will be subject to Parole Supervision for Life and must register under Megan’s Law.
A Warren County jury found Rosado guilty on April 17, 2025, of four counts of first-degree aggravated sexual assault, two counts of second-degree sexual assault, and two counts of second-degree endangering the welfare of a child.
According to prosecutors, the sexual acts occurred between 2015 and 2016, when the victim, who was known to Rosado, was between 9 and 11 years old.
