DENVILLE TOWNSHIP, N.J. (Morris County) — A Parsippany man was charged with driving while intoxicated after police responding to a report of breaking glass discovered he had allegedly been operating a vehicle while impaired, authorities said.
Police responded at approximately 11:20 p.m. June 19 to a 911 call reporting the sound of breaking glass outside a residence and a man running toward Route 46.
Responding officers located a person matching the description and identified him as Christopher Glynn, 52, of Parsippany.
According to police, the investigation determined Glynn had been driving through Denville when he became lost. After exiting his vehicle to determine his location, he accidentally locked his keys inside the vehicle.

During the investigation, officers observed signs that Glynn appeared to be intoxicated. Following standardized field sobriety tests, he was arrested and transported to Denville Police Headquarters for processing.
Glynn was charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence of liquor or drugs, reckless driving and careless driving. He was released pending a future appearance in Denville Municipal Court, police said.
