BAYONNE, N.J. (Hudson County) — A Boonton man was killed Tuesday morning in a multi-vehicle crash on the New Jersey Turnpike Hudson Bay Extension in Bayonne, according to New Jersey State Police.

Troopers responded at 11:07 a.m. May 26 to the eastbound side of the Turnpike Hudson Bay Extension near milepost 2.8, State Police spokesman Trooper II Christopher Postorino said.

The Jeep then accelerated forward and struck the Toyota, police said.

Roufaeal sustained fatal injuries in the crash. The passenger in the Acura sustained moderate injuries and was taken to an area hospital.
