Mosquito spraying scheduled Monday night in 3 Morris County towns

MORRIS COUNTY, N.J. — Mosquito spraying is scheduled for portions of Lincoln Park, Montville and Hanover Township Monday night due to an increase in adult mosquito populations.

Weather permitting, the Morris County Division of Mosquito Control will conduct treatments using truck-mounted sprayers from 8:30 p.m. Monday, Aug. 24, through 1 a.m. Tuesday.

Lincoln Park: Gettysburg Way, Toms Point Way, Robertson Way, Pine Brook Road, Skyline Drive, Noelle Court, Stonyridge Drive, Alpine Drive, Erin Way, Ryan Lane, Kerri Lane, Beverly Lane, Orchard Avenue, Riverview Avenue, Larsen Lane, Rosenbrook Drive, Chapel Hill Road, Highland Street, Homestead Lane, Harvest Lane, Foothill Drive, Morris Avenue, Pearson Street, Terrace Parkway, Hunter Road, Ferndale Lane, Two Bridges Road, Linden Avenue, Hemlock Avenue, Spruce Avenue, Cypress Avenue, Sycamore Avenue, Oak Street, Riveredge Road, Caroline Terrace and Valley Road.

The county will use either Anvil 2+2, which contains the active ingredient Sumithrin, or Zenivex E4, which contains the active ingredient Etofenprox.
