MORRIS COUNTY, N.J. — Mosquito control treatments are scheduled for four Morris County towns early Wednesday morning in response to an increase in adult mosquito populations.
Weather permitting, the Morris County Division of Mosquito Control will treat wooded areas in Montville, Roxbury, Long Hill and Morristown on Aug. 26 between 4 and 6 a.m.
Treatments will be conducted using all-terrain vehicles at the following locations:
- Montville: Horseneck Road, including Community Park and the amphitheater
- Roxbury: Orben Trail
- Long Hill: Main Street Extension and Rainbow Trail
- Morristown: Burnham Parkway, including Burnham Park
The county will use either Anvil 2+2, with the active ingredient Sumithrin, or Zenivex E4, with the active ingredient Etofenprox.
