Mosquito spraying scheduled Wednesday night in Mendham

MENDHAM, N.J. (Morris County) — Due to an increase in adult mosquito populations and ongoing disease response efforts, mosquito control crews are scheduled to treat portions of Mendham on Wednesday, Oct. 8, weather permitting, officials announced.

Spraying will take place between 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. using a truck-mounted sprayer on Mountainside Road and in India Brook Park, according to the announcement.

Crews will apply Anvil 2+2, which contains the active ingredient Sumithrin (EPA #1021-1687-8329), or Zenivex E4, which contains the active ingredient Etofenprox (EPA #2724-807). The application will be conducted under Pesticide Applicator License Number 20262B.
