Mosquito spraying set for Friday morning in 2 Morris County towns
MORRIS COUNTY, N.J. – The Morris County Mosquito Commission has announced that it will be using an All-Terrain Vehicle to treat a section of woods and surrounding property in Long Hill Township and East Hanover Township on Friday morning.
Spraying is scheduled to take place from 4 to 7 a.m. on Friday, June 13, weather permitting, the commission said.
The following areas are scheduled to be treated:
- Long Hill Township: Poplar Dr (Passaic River County Park), Norwood Dr, and Riverview Ave
- East Hanover Township: Eagle Rock Rd (Ravello’s), River Rd (Camp Thunderbird), and Hanover Rd (Hanover Cemetery)
The commission will be using Anvil 2+2, active ingredient Sumithrin, EPA#1021-1687-8329 or Zenivex E4, active ingredient Etofenprox, EPA#2724-807.
