
Mosquito spraying set for Monday in 2 Morris County towns
MORRIS COUNTY, NJ – The Morris County Mosquito Commission has announced that it will be using an All-Terrain vehicle to treat a section of woods in Hanover Township Monday morning.
The mosquito spraying will go on from 4:00 a.m. – 8:00 a.m. on Sept. 23, weather permitting, the commission said.
The following areas are scheduled to be treated:
- Hanover Township: Fredrick Place, and Hanover Avenue (Community Gardens, Patriots Path).
The commission will be using Anvil 2+2, active ingredient Sumithrin, EPA#1021-1687-8329 or Zenivex E4, active ingredient Etofenprox, EPA#2724.
The commission will also be using a truck mounted sprayer to treat streets in Hanover Township, and Madison Borough Monday night.
The mosquito spraying will go on from 8:00 p.m. – 12:00 a.m. on Sept. 23, weather permitting, the commission said.
The following areas are scheduled to be treated:
- Hanover Township: Whippanong Way, Oakridge Dr, Yardley Pl, Harvest Ct, Vermont Terr, Tanglewood Pl, Rosemont Ln, Springbrook Ct, Northcrest Terr, Norwood Way, Riveredge Ln, Grandview Ct, Fawnridge Pl, Foxchase Ln, Edgehill Terr, Evergreen Ct, Dellwood Ln, Dawson Pl, Chandler Ln, Cobblestone Way, Brookview Ct, Alpine Ln, Altaview Ct.
- Madison Borough: Park Avenue, Wayne Boulevard, Anthony Drive, South Street, and Loveland Street.
The commission will be using Anvil 2+2, active ingredient Sumithrin, EPA#1021-1687-8329 or Zenivex E4, active ingredient Etofenprox, EPA#2724-807, Pesticide Applicator License Number 20262.
