Mosquito spraying set for Monday morning in 2 Morris County towns
MORRIS COUNTY, N.J. — The Morris County Mosquito Commission will conduct mosquito control operations using an all-terrain vehicle in wooded areas and surrounding properties in Montville Township, and East Hanover Township on Monday morning.
Spraying is scheduled to take place from 4 to 7 a.m. on Monday, June 2, weather permitting, the commission said.
The following areas are set to be treated:
- Montville Township: Nicholas Street, Beverly Drive, Peace Valley Road, and Maple Avenye (John St Park)
- East Hanover Township: Eagle Rock Avenue (Ravello’s)
The commission will use either Anvil 2+2, with active ingredient Sumithrin (EPA Reg. No. 1021-1687-8329), or Zenivex E4, with active ingredient Etofenprox (EPA Reg. No. 2724-807).
