Mosquito spraying set for Sunday morning in 3 Morris County towns
MORRIS COUNTY, NJ – Mosquito Commission has announced that it will be using an All-Terrain vehicle to treat a section of woods in Florham Park Borough, East Hanover Township, and Rockaway Sunday morning.
The mosquito spraying will go on from 5:00 a.m. – 9:00 a.m. on Sunday, July 25, weather permitting, the commission said.
The following areas are scheduled to be treated:
- Rockaway: Montauk Avenue (White Meadow Lake Day Camp), and Timberbrook Road (Camp Winnebago).
- East Hanover: Cedar Street (Camp Hope).
- Florham Park: Ridgedale Avenue (Municipal complex).
The commission will be using Anvil 2+2, active ingredient Sumithrin, EPA#1021-1687-8329, Pesticide Applicator License Number 20262B.
