Mosquito spraying set for Sunday morning in 3 Morris County towns

MORRIS COUNTY, NJ – The Morris County Mosquito Commission has announced that it will be using an All-Terrain vehicle and backpacks to treat a section of woods in Madison Borough, Florham Park Borough, and Chatham Township on Sunday morning.

The mosquito spraying will go on from 4:30 a.m. – 8:00 a.m. on Sunday, Aug. 25, the commission said.

The following areas are scheduled to be treated:

  • Madison Borough: Station Road (Madison DPW).
  • Florham Park Borough: Longley Lane, and Municipal Complex Road (Emmet Park, Municipal Complex).
  • Chatham Township: Parrot Mill Road (Shepard Kollock Recreational Park).

The commission will be using Anvil 2+2, active ingredient Sumithrin, EPA#1021-1687-8329 or Zenivex E4, active ingredient Etofenprox, EPA#2724-807.
