Watch for long-term lane closure on Hanover Road in Florham Park Borough

Electrical Improvements May Cause Lane Closure Into Early October

FLORHAM PARK BOROUGH, NJ (Morris County) – The northbound lane of a portion of Hanover Road will be closed for an electrical system installation by PSE&G between the intersection with Columbia Turnpike and James Street in Florham Park Borough.

Work is scheduled Mondays through Friday from approximately 8:00 a.m. until approximately 4:00 p.m.

Detours will be in place and motorists are advised to plan alternative routes while work continues into late September and possibly early October.

Detour Routes:

Southbound traffic on Columbia Turnpike

  • Continue past Hanover Road
  • Turn left onto Vreeland Road which leads back to Hanover Road

Northbound traffic on Columbia Turnpike

  • Continue past Hanover Road
  • Turn right onto Ridgedale Avenue
  • Turn right onto James Street which leads back to Hanover Road

Florham Park schools have been notified and special provisions are in place to provide access for any busses. The work is being completed by PSE&G through an active open road permit.
