One killed, one seriously injured in Warren County crash on Route 519

WHITE TOWNSHIP, N.J. (Warren County) — A 23-year-old Pennsylvania woman was killed and another person seriously injured in a two-vehicle crash on County Route 519 in White Township on Saturday, according to the New Jersey State Police.

Troopers responded to the scene at approximately 1:07 p.m. on July 27 near milepost 41.2, State Police Sgt. Charles Marchan said.

A preliminary investigation revealed that a Chevrolet passenger vehicle was traveling south on County Route 519 when it veered off the roadway. The vehicle then reentered the southbound lanes, crossed the double yellow lines and struck a northbound Ford SUV.

Following the impact, the Chevrolet continued off the road to the left and hit a utility pole.

Rosa Castro Zumba, 23, of Lansdale, Pennsylvania, a passenger in the Chevrolet, sustained fatal injuries. The driver, Luis Zhagnay, 29, also of Lansdale, sustained serious injuries.

The crash remains under investigation. No additional information was immediately released.
