Mosquito treatment scheduled Sunday in Rockaway
ROCKAWAY, N.J. (Morris County) — Mosquito control crews are scheduled to treat a wooded area near White Meadow Lake Camp early Sunday following an increase in adult mosquito populations.
Weather permitting, the Morris County Division of Mosquito Control will conduct the treatment from 4 to 6 a.m. Aug. 16 along White Meadow Road in the area of White Meadow Lake Camp.
The treatment will be conducted using an all-terrain vehicle.
Crews will use either Anvil 2+2, which contains the active ingredient sumithrin, or Zenivex E4, which contains the active ingredient etofenprox.
