Motorcyclist injured in Route 284 crash in Sussex County

WANTAGE TOWNSHIP, N.J. (Sussex County) — A motorcyclist was injured after losing control and overturning on Route 284 in Wantage Township Saturday afternoon, according to New Jersey State Police.

Troopers responded to the crash at about 3:36 p.m. on Route 284 at milepost 4, according to State Police spokesman Trooper II Christopher Postorino.

Based on a preliminary investigation, the driver of a Honda motorcycle lost directional control, ran off the right side of the roadway and overturned.

The driver sustained minor injuries and was transported to an area hospital, Postorino said. No other injuries were reported at the scene.

The crash remains under investigation, and no additional information is available.
