MOUNT OLIVE TOWNSHIP, NJ (Morris County) – The Mount Olive Police Department Department has Launched the MO CAP mental health co-response program.
The MO CAP program is a mental health co-response initiative specifically for Mount Olive Township. The program allows Mount Olive Township police officers to collaborate with mental health professionals on scene to deescalate situations involving individuals experiencing a mental health crisis and assist community members struggling with mental health or substance use disorders. Mental health professionals also help connect individuals to appropriate services based on their immediate needs.
