Mountain Creek Bike Park opens for 2026 season

VERNON TOWNSHIP, N.J. (Sussex County) — Mountain Creek Resort’s bike park is now open for the 2026 season, welcoming riders back to its downhill trails in Sussex County.

The Vernon-based resort said the park features 60 trails designed for a range of skill levels, from beginners to experienced riders. The terrain includes technical rocky sections, flow trails and more than 60 jumps and features, all serviced by a high-speed gondola with over 1,000 feet of vertical.

“We’re excited to kick off another season at Mountain Creek with the Bike Park opening on April 24th ,” said Evan Kovach, General Manager at Mountain Creek Resort. “There’s no better time to get outside and experience our trails, whether you’re a first-time rider or a seasoned downhill enthusiast. We look forward to welcoming both new and returning guests back for another great season on the mountain.”

Opening day includes access for season passholders and select cardholders, with general public access beginning Saturday, officials said.

Full-day tickets are priced at $64.99, while twilight tickets starting at 3 p.m. are available for $44.99. The resort also offers bike rentals and instructional programs, including a beginner package that includes equipment, lift access and a guided lesson.

The bike park will operate on a limited spring schedule through mid-June before transitioning to daily summer hours later in the season.

Mountain Creek Resort offers year-round outdoor recreation, including biking, zip tours, water park attractions and winter sports.
