Multiple children’s products, toys and household items recalled due to risks of injury, death, and safety violations
Several children’s toys, household items and furniture products sold online through retailers including Amazon, Shein and Primark have been recalled due to serious safety hazards that pose risks of injury or death, federal officials announced. The recalls involve multiple brands and products that violate mandatory safety standards or contain defects that could endanger children and consumers.
Hazard: The recalled toys violate the mandatory standard for toys because the screw used to secure the battery compartment that contains a button cell battery does not remain attached as required. When button cell or coin batteries are swallowed, the ingested batteries can cause serious injuries, internal chemical burns, and death.
Remedy: Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled writing tablet toys and contact KTEBO for a free replacement set of tablet toys. Consumers should write “RECALLED” on the back of both tablet toys that came in the set, take a photo of the marked tablet toys, and submit the photos to writing-tablet-recall@ktebo.com with “Recall Proof” and their name in the subject line.

This creates an unsafe sleeping environment for infants. Padded crib bumpers are banned by the Safe Sleep for Babies Act.

Ningbo Tianqi Electronic Recalls FUFU&GAGA Murphy Wall Beds Due to Impact and Laceration Hazards
Hazard: During assembly or disassembly, the 215-pound frame of the wall bed can fall onto consumers, posing deadly impact, crush, and laceration hazards.
Remedy: Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled wall beds and contact Ningbo Tianqi Electronic for a full refund. To obtain a refund, consumers will be provided with a disassembly kit that contains tools, brackets and screws with instructions on how to disassemble and discard the wall beds.

Hazard: The recalled dressers are unstable if they are not anchored to the wall, posing tip-over and entrapment hazards that can result in a risk of serious injuries or death to children. The dressers violate the mandatory standard as required by the STURDY Act.
Remedy: Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled dressers if they are not anchored to the wall and place them in an area that children cannot access. Hazard: The rivets on the handle can come loose, causing the handle to detach, posing a choking hazard for children.
Remedy: Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled 14-ounce sport tumbler and contact HydroJug for a free replacement lid. Consumers should email HydroJug at service@thehydrojug.com and provide order details (if available), shipping address and photos of the bottom of the tumbler showing the serial number or that there is no serial number. Consumers will be asked to include photos of the recalled tumbler lid permanently marked with the word “Recalled” and to dispose of the recalled tumbler lid. HydroJug will confirm eligibility and send a replacement lid.

Hazard: The chip breaker can contact the cutterhead blades during use, which can cause debris to be ejected from the planer, posing impact and laceration hazards to the user and bystanders.
Remedy: Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled planers and contact Grizzly Industrial for a free repair kit and installation instructions. The repair kit consists of an upgraded chip breaker adjustment rod, spacer, set screws, lock washers, and lock nuts.

CreateOn Recalls Pip-Cubes Due to Risk of Serious Injury or Death from Magnet Ingestion Hazard
Hazard: The recalled magnetic building cubes contain magnets that can become loose if the seams separate, posing an ingestion hazard to children. When high-powered magnets are swallowed, the ingested magnets can attract to each other, or other metal objects, and become lodged in the digestive system. This can result in perforations, twisting, and/or blockage of the intestines, blood poisoning and death.
Remedy: Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled magnetic building cubes, take them away from children and contact CreateOn to receive a replacement set of pip-cubes. Consumers will receive a pre-paid label to return the recalled magnetic cubes in order to receive the replacement.

Primark US Recalls Primark Water Balloon Pumps Due to Injury Hazard
Hazard: The water balloon pump can generate excessive pressure during use, causing the product to rupture, posing a risk of physical injury to the user or bystanders.
Remedy: Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled water balloon pumps and return them to a Primark store for a full refund in the form of the original payment.
