New senior assistant prosecutor joins Hunterdon County Prosecutor’s Office

FLEMINGTON, NJ (Hunterdon County) – Hunterdon County Prosecutor Renee M. Robeson and First Assistant Prosecutor Joseph Paravecchia announced the swearing-in of Senior Assistant Prosecutor (SAP) Laura Nazzaro.

On Tuesday, November 12, Laura Nazzaro was sworn in by the Honorable Sherwin G. Campbell, J.S.C., in the presence of her family and members of the Hunterdon County Prosecutor’s Office staff. SAP Nazzaro previously served as a Supervising Assistant Prosecutor at the Sussex County Prosecutor’s Office, where she supervised the Special Victims Unit.

Before her tenure at the Sussex County Prosecutor’s Office, SAP Nazzaro clerked for the Honorable N. Peter Conforti, J.S.C., in the Sussex County Superior Court, Criminal Part.

SAP Nazzaro is admitted to practice in New Jersey, New York, Massachusetts, and before the United States Supreme Court. She earned her bachelor’s degree from the State University of New York at Albany and graduated from New England School of Law.

Born and raised in Northwest NJ, Jay has a degree in Communications and has had a life-long interest in local radio and various styles of music. Jay has held numerous jobs over the years such as stunt car driver, bartender, voice-over artist, traffic reporter (award winning), NY Yankee maintenance crewmember and peanut farm worker. His hobbies include mountain climbing, snowmobiling, cooking, performing stand-up comedy and he is an avid squirrel watcher. Jay has been a guest on America’s Morning Headquarters,program on The Weather Channel, and was interviewed by Sam Champion.
