NJ Lottery awards 200 prizes of $10K or more in second quarter; 13 new millionaires named

NEW JERSEY — New Jersey Lottery players claimed 200 prizes of $10,000 or more from April 1 through June 30, including 13 players who won at least $1 million, officials announced Monday.

The second quarter proved another strong period for Garden State winners. So far in 2025, 408 players have won prizes of $10,000 or greater, and 26 of those have become millionaires — keeping pace with last year’s total, which exceeded 50 by year’s end.

Winners came from all 21 New Jersey counties, with Bergen County leading the way with 51 winners, followed closely by Middlesex County with 47. In South Jersey, Camden (17) and Burlington (16) topped the list. Despite their smaller populations, Salem, Cape May, and Warren counties all outperformed the state average of one $10,000-plus winner per 23,000 residents.

Notable highlights from the quarter include:

  • On June 20, a Bergen County Mega Millions player became the state’s largest beneficiary of a recent prize structure change, turning a $1 million base prize into $4 million thanks to the new automatic multiplier. The winning ticket was sold at a 7-Eleven in Montvale.

  • The week of June 2 saw more than $10 million in winnings across 16 players, including the top prize of the $5,000,000 Fortune Scratch-Off on June 8, sold at a Hillside 7-Eleven in Union County. Other major scratch-off wins that week included $2 million in Millionaire Maker and $1 million in $1,000,000 Spectacular. A $1.5 million Jersey Cash 5 jackpot was also won that week in Sussex County at a Franklin Quick Check.

  • On May 14, a player won the top prize in Cash 4 Life, valued at $7 million, with the ticket sold at Quick Stop Deli in Union Township. A $5.9 million Pick-6 jackpot followed on May 22, with the ticket sold at Eisenhower Exxon in Roseland.

  • Twenty-five Jersey Cash 5 jackpots were awarded in the second quarter alone, bringing the 2025 total to 41, including four shared jackpots.
