NJ State Police recover 15 stolen agricultural drones in Morris County; investigation ongoing

DOVER, N.J. (Morris County) — The New Jersey State Police recovered 15 stolen agricultural drones and spray systems as part of an ongoing cargo theft investigation, authorities said.

According to State Police spokesman Trooper II Christopher Postorino, the drones were reported stolen March 24 from CAC International, a logistics and shipping company in Harrison.

Investigators with the State Police Cargo Theft Unit located and recovered the drones at Prudent Corporation in Dover on April 27.

Officials said the drones are classified as agricultural drones because they are designed for use as registered crop dusters.

The investigation remains active, with Homeland Security Investigations and U.S. Customs and Border Protection assisting, Postorino said. No additional information was released.
