No injuries after car strikes utility pole in Hunterdon County

KINGWOOD TOWNSHIP, NJ (Hunterdon County) – No injuries were reported after a car struck a utility pole in Hunterdon County, according to New Jersey State Police spokesperson Detective Jeffrey Lebron.

The crash happened at around 6:30 p.m. on County Route 519 at milepost 8.5 in Kingwood Township, Lebron said.

A preliminary police investigation revealed that a Volkswagen passenger vehicle ran off the roadway and struck a utility pole, Lebron said.

The accident remains under investigation and no additional information was available at this time, Lebron said.
