No injuries after tractor-trailer overturns on I-287 in Morris County

BOONTON TOWNSHIP, NJ (Morris County) – No injuries were reported after a tractor-trailer overturned on Interstate 287 in Morris County Sunday night, according to New Jersey State Police spokesperson Sergeant Jeffrey Lebron.

The crash happened at around 11:23 p.m. on Interstate 287 northbound at milepost 45.3 in Boonton Township, Lebron said.

A preliminary police investigation revealed that a tractor-trailer lost directional control, collided with a guardrail, overturned, and its cab became lodged at the overhang, Lebron said.

The crash remains under investigation and no additional information was available, Lebron said.
