No serious injuries reported after motorcycle rear-ends car on I-287 in Somerset County, state police say

FRANKLIN TOWNSHIP, NJ (Somerset County) – No serious injuries were reported after a motorcycle rear-ends a car on I-287 in Somerset County Saturday night, according to New Jersey State Police spokesperson Sergeant Charles Marchan.

The crash happened at around 7:43 p.m. on Interstate 287 northbound at milepost 12.2 in Franklin Township, Marchan said.

A preliminary police investigation revealed that a motorcycle and a Sedan were traveling north on I-287 when the motorcycle rear-ended the Sedan, Marchan said.

No serious injuries were reported on the scene, Marchan said.

The crash remains under investigation and no additional information was available, Marchan said.
