Old York Cellars and Black River & Western Railroad add four more dates to 2025 Hunterdon Wine Express schedule

HUNTERDON COUNTY, NJ — With tickets selling quickly for the 2025 Hunterdon Wine Express, Old York Cellars and Black River & Western Railroad have added four new dates to the schedule: June 21st and June 22nd, as well as July 26th and July 27th. Three of the original dates have already sold out, and several others are close to selling out completely.

The Hunterdon Wine Express has been a sell-out success since its inaugural trip in the fall of 2022. This experience continues to grow in popularity, offering guests a unique winery experience combined with the nostalgic charm of riding one of New Jersey’s most beloved vintage trains.

“The Hunterdon Wine Express experience makes a great gift for Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, or any occasion. Since some of the early 2025 season dates have already sold out, we’ve added four additional dates to ensure more people have a chance to enjoy this popular event,” said David Wolin, owner of Old York Cellars.

Passengers begin their journey at the Black River & Western Railroad Station in Flemington, NJ, where they board the historic train for the 25-minute ride to the Ringoes, NJ station. Along the way, an Old York Cellars wine ambassador shares a brief history of the winery and New Jersey wines. Upon arrival at the historic train station in Ringoes, guests are shuttled by coach to the vineyard.

At the picturesque winery, guests will enjoy a Charcuterie, Cheese, and Chocolate Pairing Experience with six of the winery’s award-winning wines, followed by lunch prepared by Old York Cellars’ in-house chef, José Diaz. Guests will then have time to explore the vineyard at their leisure or relax with a glass of wine and listen to live music before the return trip to Flemington on the train.

This 3½-hour event costs $99 per person. Tickets can be purchased on the Old York Cellars website at www.exploretock.com/oldyorkcellars/event/357001/hunterdon-wine-express-old-york-cellars-the-black-river-western-railroad.
