One injured after deer hits motorcycle in Hunterdon County

UNION TOWNSHIP, NJ (Hunterdon County) – One person was injured early Tuesday morning after a deer struck a motorcycle in Hunterdon County, according to New Jersey State Police spokesperson Sergeant Charles Marchan.

The crash happened at around 5:05 a.m. on Frontage Road in Union Township, Marchan said.

A preliminary police investigation revealed that a motorcycle was traveling on Frontage Road when a deer entered the roadway and struck the motorcycle, Marchan said.

The motorcyclist suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to an area hospital, Marchan said.

The crash remains under investigation and no additional information was available, Marchan said.
