Overnight single-lane travel restrictions scheduled during week of Aug. 5 for I-78 in Warren County

WARREN COUNTY, NJ – Overnight milling and paving work is expected to continue along I-78 in Warren County during the week of Aug. 5, according to the Delaware River Joint Toll Bridge Commission.

The lane closure schedule is as follows:

I-78 Eastbound from milepost 75.6 in Pennsylvania to milepost 4.1 in New Jersey

  • Two open lanes (one of three lanes closed) 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. nightly Monday, Aug. 5, to Friday, Aug. 9
  • One open lane (two of three lanes closed) 8:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. (next day) overnights Monday, Aug. 5, to Friday, Aug. 9

I-78 Westbound from milepost 4.1 in New Jersey to milepost 75.6 in Pennsylvania

  • Two open lanes (one of three lanes closed) 8:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Friday, Aug. 9
  • One open lane (two of three lanes closed) 10:00 p.m. Friday, Aug. 9, to 7:00 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 10.

This schedule is subject to change due to weather, emergencies, or other factors, the commission said.

Motorists are urged to exercise caution, reduce speeds, and anticipate possible travel delays when traveling through active work zones, the commission said.
